Facebook for researchers – WW2022

Facebook for researchers – a 45 minute workshop on 26 Oct 2022, from 1230pm.

For the last few years (maybe even 5 years) Facebook has been the number 1 social media channel.

The most number of users.

The longest sessions.

The most number of sessions.

Depending on country, penetration is as much as 97% of the adult population! So, when you say “researchers aren’t on Facebook”, I’d say you’re wrong. So, if you’re keen to make better use of the most popular social media platform out there, come along to this workshop.

  • Wednesday 26 Oct 2022
  • 12:30 – 13:45 (Melb, Aus time) (check my timezone)
  • It’ll also be recorded and sent to all registrants (but not shared on the public web)

  • Zoom (you’ll get the details via email)

Who should attend

  • Researchers looking to collaborate or gain new ideas (especially from the wider public)
  • Academics with a facebook account, and not wanting to be “active” – yes there is something in it for you without posting content.
  • PhD students wanting to step out on the “right foot” when it comes to social media
